Siemens SiCharge D-EV Chargers Installation

In March 2023, JS Electrical proudly installed the first Siemens SiCharge D-EV in the UK, a major milestone in EV charging technology. This 140kW DC charger, which can fully charge a vehicle in just 15 minutes, sets new standards for fast and efficient EV charging.

We worked closely with Siemens, the manufacturer of this advanced charger, and UKPN, who provided the new power supply, to bring this project to life. Our team installed EV infrastructure across multiple sites, including Enfield and Bromley.

This project stands as the second location in the UK to feature this cutting-edge technology and the first automotive company to install AC-22 EV chargers. The Siemens SiCharge-D EV charger is 96% more efficient than traditional options, allowing for lower energy consumption and operational costs, while being capable of charging up to five vehicles at once.

We were recently called out to a newly purchased home where some electrical updates were needed. Our team relocated light switches to better fit the homeowner’s layout, added a few new ones, tucked away some loose cables in the ceiling, and ran wiring under the floorboards where necessary. It was a good opportunity to make sure everything was set up properly for the renovation.
